Classic, Crazy and Couture

Almost a classic trench--'cept its teal. Oh, and the location?  Some bulldozer museum....

I know I hear the beat of a different drummer.  It's nothing new--I've always strove to be different.  From time to time I am reminded of this, as I was this week when I read Grit and Glamour's post.   So many people disliked the January issue of Lucky Mag.  I loved it.

I had to take a step back.  Is my style really that crazy?  Yeah, crazy is a part of me, but not all of my style.  For example, I categorize my bathing suit designs (notebooks full of sketches and a closet full of prototypes) into three groups: crazy, classic and couture.  I guess I am all of these.

With all of this in mind,  I decided to post my  "classic" looks.  Course, classic looks for me have a bit of a twist--check out more of the looks under my "trend" page~

And check out Visible Monday!

  8. Love this color trench! It is beautiful on you and love your background! The opposite of hearing your own beat it what my husband refers to as "Moths to the flame." and who wants to be that?

  9. I think you should keep both your style preferences. You know, when you want to rotate back and forth between "crazy" and more refined. Our personalities are multi-faceted and so our wardrobes should be too. I've tried narrowing down my closet to reflect one taste but I'm never satisfied. I need options! Now I need to go get that magazine too.

I love style that's a little off the beaten path. Style is supposed to be an expression of the person wearing it. Also, I've nominated your blog for what's called a Liebster award.
