Ikat and Florals

Yes, I got some rubber necking when I wore this outfit at our local mall.  It is a small town.  And one must consider the demographic for the time; it was about 1:30 in the afternoon.
It sort-a made me chuckle inside.
Very visible.
(See everyone next week for Visible Monday!)

  1. I think this looks great together! But I know that not everyone has caught on to pattern mixing. I'm pretty tame on what I wear because I don't like a lot of attention when I go out. One of these days pattern mixing will be so commonplace - then we'll have to find some other way to break the rules!

  2. Ikat is one of the traditional woven print from my native country, Malaysia. We call it Pua. There are so many beautiful pattern and I have a huge piece on the wall in one of the rooms in my house. You look great and kudos for pulling off this print mix look so beautifully!

  4. They were clearly in complete admiration! You look completely wonderful. Easily one of the coolest looks I've seen in a while! Know what you mean about small town gawping at women in real clothes. Sigh.

  5. Its better to be visible and looking this good than be looked at because one is too under-dress.
I love this combination when you have the jacket close is just fantastic!

  8. Well I for one think you look adorable. So let them look! The jacket is fabulous, and goes very well with the printed skirt.

  9. I love this outfit on you, I seriously think you are a mix-master, like Bella and Sacramento, and I love that you do it fearlessly. Please teach me this skill! Thank you so much for joining Adrienne and me for "How I Wear My: Florals". I loved the pairing of that printed floral skirt with the tipped cardigan (who makes that, btw, now I want one!). I hope you will join us again in July! XO, Jill
