I don't always have pretty pictures. Some, of course, I discard but others are the REAL way I looked that day.
And yes, I could have changed out the mucky-muck boots I had to wear because it was snowing out on Tuesday to make a prettier picture, or I could take pictures earlier in the day so I wouldn't look so haggard, BUT
I don't think that's what is important. I guess I just want to share with you my enthusiasm for dressing. More of the process than the result.
Keeps me vibrant; how about you over at Patti's Visible Monday?
I hope you're surviving the snow! Love your photos! Pop of yellow in the first outfit is very pretty....reminder of a spring season that's close by.
ReplyDeleteSpring cant come soon enough for me--cant stand the winter!
DeleteDressing for the weather is a necessity! You do it with panache. I love the black and white skirt and the long fuzzy vest, too.
ReplyDeleteWe must be utilitarian~

ReplyDeleteSuch fun colors! Especially the yellow, grey, and black. That's quickly becoming a favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite though is the vest. I bet that is a staple in your wardrobe. It's fabulous!
Paula, I really like the yellow with the ethnic print skirt and the moving photos are also a plus!
DeleteI wear that fur vest almost once a week! You are correct--a staple!

Really like how you've used the yellow top to add a splash of colour to the grey outfit.
ReplyDeleteI so agree. I love your wonderful neon yellow top. It really brightens up that outfit.
ReplyDeleteI'm so impressed with your computer skills; the animation, etc. As always, your choices of color demonstrate your enthusiasm, which is contagious. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI like yellow and grey color combinations. Where the heck did you find that cool skirt? I have been searching for ikat things. Must look harder.
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, i found the skirt at marshalls
DeleteI wish I had some yellow and gray. It is such a fresh combination and it sure looks good on you. Love the furry vest too.
ReplyDeleteYou still look wonderful!!
ReplyDeleteGray and yellow! Love the combo, especially with the skirt. Lots to look at, but not in the least fussy. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure why but this blog is loading incredibly slow for me. Is anyone else having this problem or is it a issue on my end? I'll check back
ReplyDeletelater and see if the problem still exists.

Hi Paula,
ReplyDeleteFound you through Trina's Tea Time.
Not many can pull off short skirts over 50, but you can. As my friend Anja can.
You have a young vibe. Perhaps that is why.
I particularly like the grey/black&white/yellow outfit. Gorgeous.
