Date Outfit

I see now I should have added a necklace; one of the added benefits of taking pictures!

My dressing theme for last week had been to wear A-line mini skirts.  (check out my last post AND my instagram photos on the sidebar.)  This little skirt fit in perfectly for my valentine's date.

In an article in the February Lucky mag, they had different date outfit categories; the Eclectic, the Bohemian, the Bombshell, the Gamine, the Tomboy or the Coquette.

Which category would my outfit fit into?  My vote is for the eclectic! With the upscale fur, the casual boots, and the sexy striped mini--its all a mash-up.

Love seeing everyone over Patti's Not Dead Yet Style for Visible Monday!  It's the one day a week I know I'll check in with my blogger friends~

  1. Very cute! I'd say eclectic, too. I like the asymmetrical stripes on the skirt and the boots a lot. Skirts are a real go-to item for me.

    1. Skirts are a real go to for me too, Becky! Altho this year I did make a change and bought a lot of dresses--they are easier sometimes!

  3. I love the way you've worn the skirt - are those sweater tights underneath? The whole look is fun but very age appropriate!

  9. You look so cute in the mini. You have the great legs to go with it! I agree with you on pictures showing what's missing -- it's so much easier to see than looking in the mirror. However, your total look is perfect as is.

  12. My vote is for gamine/posh-eclectic, if there is such a category :-) The fur vest is amazing and you've kept it from being too serious or stodgy by styling it the way you did. I also love the boots!! Any info, like what brand? Anytime someone says it's a very "Paula" outfit, you know you're on the right track!!

  13. I would have gone with Bohemian, but the denim legs make me think tomboy. Thus electic fits perfectly. What did hubby wear on this date?
