I went to work today and someone asked me if my warm-ups were from Flashdance; lol. They are one of those items of clothing I would like to keep from the past--crazy as it may seem!
On another subject entirely, I wanted to let you know that I have grouped and "filed" my older posts in my pages; like my mini-skirt pics of last week. I am hoping my blog can be a reference for some of you (hence the "blogazine" tag line) in looking for inspiration. You may ask yourself one morning, "how did that crazy person Paula wear a mini?" and this makes it easier for you to check!
Hello all of my friends from Visible Monday--from Patti's Not Dead Yet Style! Be checking in with you!
I really like this look, Paula - the leg warmers are cool paired with your ladylike dress. You've got a great blog, my friend, and a great eye for fashion too. Thanks for linking up : >
ReplyDeleteAww shucks Patti! And you know I feel the same way about you and yours!
DeleteCute way to wear the boots! And I really like the dress - it looks comfortable. The vest helps give it more definition without having to use a belt - that's a great idea!
ReplyDeleteVal and the dress does have a belt--that I wear sometimes, but I dont like belts. so whenever I can avoid them I do!
DeleteI like the leg warmers, Paula...this is a fun look! I also liked your name for me...GLAMAMOM...my daughter wasn't as taken with it...but I can still put it on a T Shirt, right?? You asked how I am going to get blogging done...well, I am taking all of this one day at a time. I go back to work tomorrow...one day at a time! Have a great evening!
ReplyDeletelol yes one of my friends was traumatized by "grandma" so she goes with "glamma" instead!
DeleteI dont know how you do it all Pam!
Paula! You look wonderful! I think the leg Warner's are fabulous! Great job on organizing your posts! We MUST catch up soon!! Hugs! Serene
ReplyDeleteI know Serene! Miss you and I have a lot to tell you...
DeleteLove the dress wavy skirt and the material; is like a good quality jean.
ReplyDeleteAnd it looks great with your boots and leg warmers!
Flashdance!!! That is a MAJOR compliment!
ReplyDeleteLeg warmers forever,
Becky :)
Ahh a fellow leg warmer lover!
DeleteFlashdance was my favourite movie as a girl turning teen - I remember wearing leg warmers to my school disco - fond memories...
ReplyDeleteGroovy fur gilet!
I am in LOVE with that vest! So, so cute and current, too. If you ever want to part with it, you know where to find me ;)
ReplyDeleteI loved the movie Flashdance, too! Leg warmer and all!
ReplyDeleteLoving your look today!! What a cute vest!
Keeping something from the past that you love sounds good to me, and the leg warmers pair nicely with your leopard print vest. You dress flows gracefully, presenting another great look, Paula.
ReplyDeleteLove this look on you!! Cute cute cute!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your shaggy vest, it's gorgeous on you. I never saw Flashdance but adored Fame and wore legwarmers with pretty much everything back in the 1980s! xxx
ReplyDeleteI think this ages a lot of us since we all seem to love flashdance. Great use of the leg warmers. I'm really loving your dress, what a great versatile lovely dress.

ReplyDeleteYou look fabulous in this combination. Do NOT take offence at my blog about Leopard prints today ... you definitely fall into the Audrey Hepburn category.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, I love brown and blue!
Jan--I totally agree with your opinion tho--too much leopard becomes cheesy--Thanks!
DeleteI love the little fur vest! I have so many pieces like that and then I wonder(?)how am I going to wear THAT? Thanks for the inspiration. And thanks so much for stopping by my blog and commenting! Debbie @ ilovemylemonadelife.com
