I'm a non-conformist. (dUH, Paula!) The reason why I say this is because now that not matching colors is what's vogue; today I'm matchy-matchy. I even matched the circles in my skirt with the circles in my shirt. And I matched my earrings!

This is contrary to my asymetrical style, but both styles have balance. And I am feeling very balanced today. Are you?
Well, its not too matchy matchy...I really like the total look!! My favorite its the shirt..I love it and would have wanted it myself! Beautiful! Im sorry I didn't get the links in the response to the Huffington Post article, but I at least wanted our names in there! I am barely functioning this week..I guess I really am getting old!!
ReplyDeleteooh yes, I'm very balanced perched here on my bed in leopard-print flannette pj pants and black cardi;)). Good on you for going against the trend - I love the swirls on your top and the circle-patterned skirt is simply delish!! Looking so fresh for summer Paula:)) xo
ReplyDeletePaula...YES YES YES! Feeling quite balanced today! And totally feeling that gorgeous skirt! Skirts are so pretty on you! Hugs! ~Serene
ReplyDeleteYou look so sunny and summery today! I heart that skirt so much. You still look just like you, not like a conformist at all, just like the lovely Paula!
ReplyDeleteThat skirt is a favorite of mine.
ReplyDeleteI think you've been pretty subtle with the matchyness, it didn't pop out at me right away.
I like your stone wall. I always think about the line good fences make good neighbors when I see a rock wall.
That skirt rocks. And I love the whole look.
ReplyDeleteWowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww You really look stunning today, Paula.

I love a little match-matchy myself. I think it's gone a bit overboard with the not-matching trend, I see pictures of some of these gals, usually much younger, and everything is out of whack and I don't think it looks stylish at all, it looks like a train wreck. I love your look here. I just read your post on wigs, which was hilarious. I think the tiny falls on you look great! I have a bubblegum pink disco dolly wig (a super short bob), that I bust out on Halloween. Oh, btw, if you get a chance, I just posted the Bergdorf windows. I'm so curious as to what you think of them since I know you have done window design.
ReplyDeleteI love that skirt and I like your color matches. Very subtle.
ReplyDeleteYou look indeed very balanced and very pretty with this awesome skirt.
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling great too.

The colors balance each other and the shirt ruffles are similar to the skirts shapes.
ReplyDeleteOverall, a great outfit!
Oh, I love the print of the skirt combined with the detail of the top!
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is so pretty. I love the unusual pattern and the color combination.
ReplyDeleteCute, cute, cute! Great colors. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the mix of textures--makes up for the matchy matchy. Honestly, I never quite understood the non-matchy thing...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it, by NOT being unmatched you are ACTUALLY one of the cool kids ;)
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!!!
I love a great skirt and this is one great skirt,, perfect shape, colors, length.........
LOVE IT :)

Although you are match match, you have done it in a very skilled way. For example the texture of the circles on the shirt are completely different from the skirt. So you have maintained a balance in an unbalanced way :))
ReplyDeleteI love this look on you! There is nothing too matchy until you point it out. It just looks "put together". And I am a huge fan of yellow... so you had me at Yel-low. ;) So I guess I am not feeling so balanced.... LOL! Cheers!
